French toast, the ultimate Sunday morning breakfast, but a bit basic. Give these vegan French rolls a try, guaranteed to be delicious.
Ingredients (for 4 French rolls)
- 200 ml plant-based milk
- 2 tbsp oat flour
- 4 brown sandwiches
- 2 tbsp BioToday Roasted Nut Butter
- 2 tbsp agave syrup
- Oil for frying
Preparation method
Put the milk with the flour in a deep plate and mix. Cut the crusts off the sandwiches and roll the sandwiches flat with a rolling pin. Spread half a tablespoon of prepared nut butter in the center of the sandwiches and roll them shut. Also press the ends of the sandwiches closed, otherwise the nut butter will come out. Dip the rolls through the batter so that it soaks into the sandwich. Heat some oil in an oven and fry the French rolls until golden brown on all sides. Place the French rolls on a plate and pour over some agave syrup.
Tip: with fresh fruit is also delicious
