We all want a healthy and easy breakfast, right? This delicious oatmeal breakfast with stewed apple will do just fine. In the winter season, it may be that you digest raw apples less well. Stewed apples are soft, easily digestible and the sour edge has a clean effect on the liver. Serve the apples with a warm breakfast and you'll glow for the rest of the day!
preparation 10 minutes • ingredients for 1 person
- 6 tablespoons grain oatmeal
- 1 apple
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- Spices of your choice such as turmeric, nutmeg,
- cinnamon, vanilla powder and cloves
- A handful raisins
- 50ml water
that's how you make it
1. Soak the oats in 200 ml of water the night before.
2. The next morning, cook the oats for about 3-4 minutes. Peel and cut the apple into pieces.
3. Heat the coconut oil in a separate pan and fry the apples until golden brown. Add the spices, raisins and 50 ml water. Cover the pan to allow the apples to stew for a few minutes.
4. Pour the warm apple over the oatmeal.
